Salary Range: $52.00 To $60.00 Hourly

Commercial Kitchen Service Technician (Mid & Senior Level)

PGM Service is a fast-growing commercial kitchen equipment service company supporting restaurants, hospitals, and large food service operations across Florida. We specialize in keeping kitchens operational with a focus on quality, speed, and professionalism.

We are actively hiring Mid-Level and Senior Service Technicians across the following markets:

• Tampa
• Orlando

Compensation & Earning Potential

We offer a strong hourly base, consistent overtime, and performance-based commission.

$45-$52+ per hour effective earnings (including overtime + commission)

$52-$60+ per hour effective earnings (including overtime + commission)

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment:
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs)
• Communicate clearly with customers on issues and solutions
• Complete digital work orders with notes and photos
• Identify additional repair opportunities
• Maintain truck inventory and tools

What We're Looking For

• 3-5+ years of experience in food equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, or a similar field
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Able to run most service calls independently
• 5-8+ years of experience
• Advanced diagnostics across hot-side and/or refrigeration systems
• Ability to handle complex calls without supervision

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Ability to pass background check (required for certain customer sites)
• Strong work ethic and professionalism

Preferred (Not Required)

• EPA Certification
• CFESA Certification
• Gas or electrical certifications
