Maintenance Mechanic

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production lines. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and technical aptitude, previous experience in a high-speed industrial environment, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Orlando, FL

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hr (DOE)

Schedule: 2nd shift working 6:00 pm - 6:30 am (must be available on weekends)

• Provide immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform immediate repairs on industrial machinery.
• Overhaul and install new mechanical equipment and systems.
• Rebuild, fabricate, and weld mechanical parts and components.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
• Assist with change-overs and continuous improvement of production processes.
• Troubleshoot and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

• At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven experience working in a high-speed, industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with hands-on experience in machinery repair and maintenance.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and tracking maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturers' specifications and mechanical schematics.
• Previous experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
