Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

7:00 AM-4:30 PM, with overtime available through extended shifts and weekend work

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical service and support at customer locations. This position is customer-facing and responsible for safely troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work independently in a variety of environments.

• Perform field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment and system conditions.
• Identify and correct safety issues involving company- and customer-owned equipment.
• Provide direct technical support and professional service to customers.
• Work across multiple customer sites and with different technologies as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment.
• Protect and properly use company property and equipment.
• Serve as a first-line technical service resource for customers.
• Support the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of customer systems.
• Travel to other locations, meetings, and seminars as required.

• 1-3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Customer service experience required.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and smart devices.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Ability to pass a credit check.
• Ability to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL with applicable endorsements.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and accommodate a driver when required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Water valves
• Plumbing
• Skilled trades
• Reverse osmosis systems
• Mechanical or electrical equipment

• Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
• Must be able to walk, write, and type frequently.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to climb and descend stairs.
• Ability to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull as needed.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and in writing.
• Work may take place indoors and outdoors.
• May be exposed to temperatures ranging from approximately 0F to 120F.
• May work in areas where hearing protection is required.
• May be exposed to dust, dirt, and concrete work surfaces.
• Must be comfortable operating a computer and communicating via telephone.
• Some travel to other locations, meetings, and seminars is required.
