Lingo Staffing is now hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Orlando, FL to start ASAP!
Industrial Maintenance Technician – Who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable troubleshooting equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing breakdowns, and completing mechanical and electrical repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, VFDs, and 24 VDC controls and be someone who can jump in, troubleshoot the problem, and help get production back up and running.
Pay & Scheduled:
- $28.00 Hourly
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday: 6:00AM – 2:30PM
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Job
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Diagnose and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Replace bearings, belts, chains, gears, motors, sensors, valves, and other components.
- Work with PLCs and VFDs for basic troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot 24 VDC control circuits and industrial electrical systems.
- Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to identify equipment issues.
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Complete welding, fabrication, or other mechanical repairs when needed.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and help get production back up and running quickly.
- Document repairs and maintenance completed.
- Follow all LOTO, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- General knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and 24 VDC controls.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Someone who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and get the job done.
- Must be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when needed.
