Cook; Part Time - Behavioral Health

Position Summary

The overall functions of this position are to prepare and serve regular and special diets to patients and employees under the supervision of the Dietary Manager.

• Follows production sheets for preparation of current and future meals.
• Ensures food presentation is pleasant and food temperatures are appropriate on the serving line and in food storage areas.
• Follows published menus and completes substitution schedule when necessary.
• Serves patients.
• Conducts meal clean‑up: ensuring floor is swept, tables and dishes are properly cleaned, and mopping is completed.

• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation. Please visit  for more information.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler's Certification required (can be obtained upon hire).
• (1) year experience in a behavioral health facility highly preferred.
• Demonstrates a willingness to cooperate with others.
• Can be reliably on time for work.
