Orlando Neighborhood Improvement Corporation (ONIC) seeks a dedicated and hands‑on individual to serve as its Resident Services Coordinator 1. The ideal candidate will have experience with community engagement, facilitating activities like community meetings, game nights, arts & crafts gatherings, and food distribution, along with a proven track record in coordinating supportive services, fostering partnerships, and empowering residents to thrive. The role requires a compassionate, organized and proactive individual who can build trust with residents, connect households to critical resources, and support a safe and inclusive community environment.
Mission: ONIC believes in building and maintaining affordable communities with enhanced services in Central Florida.
Reporting Structure: The Resident Services Coordinator 1 reports to the Resident Services Manager.
Pay & Benefits: The hourly rate for this position is $21/hr benefits include (12) paid holidays, accrued vacation, and sick time, medical insurance options, dental and vision insurance, short and long‑term disability, a 403b retirement plan and a health saving account option.
Working Environment/
Location:
On site. Physical demands include climbing stairs, distributing flyers, carrying materials and snacks for activities, along with participating in the food distribution program.
Responsibilities include:
- Recruit and actively work to retain resident participation in programs and events.
- Communicate policies, procedures and guidelines to program participants.
- Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources.
- Document outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Prepare track service delivery metrics and reports.
- Associate's degree (AS) from an accredited college in Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
- Minimum two (2) years of resident services experience.
- Ability to pass level II background check fingerprinting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, & Publisher.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with others in a collaborative environment.
- Current driver’s license and proof of motor vehicle liability insurance are required.
