Summary

The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking qualified Bilingual Field Case Specialists to support a federal human services program serving vulnerable populations, including youth, young adults, and families. This role is designed for candidates with backgrounds in social work, social services, case management, child welfare, youth services, family support, community outreach, crisis response, or related human services fields.

Travel:
Frequent travel required (75%–90%), including same-day, regional, and overnight travel. Candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to a major airport.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct assigned in‑person field visits within an assigned geographic region.
  • Engage with participants, families, and household members in a respectful, trauma‑informed, culturally responsive, and professional manner.
  • Confirm whether a participant resides at an assigned residential location and document the outcome of each visit.
  • Observe and document general safety, wellness, and living‑environment indicators using program‑approved procedures.
  • Identify and document relevant household members, contact information, and relationship information as required by program protocols.
  • Support confirmation of school‑related, household, contact, and wellness‑related information when assigned.
  • Use approved tools, forms, mobile technology, and secure systems to complete timely and accurate documentation.
  • Prepare objective case notes, field visit summaries, contact notes, and supporting documentation without opinion or unsupported conclusions.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, dispatch, language access, quality review, case coordination, and program operations teams.
  • Conduct follow‑up visits or support updated address follow‑up when required.
  • Immediately elevate urgent safety concerns, suspected abuse, neglect, abandonment, trafficking indicators, field safety concerns, participant complaints, or other reportable risk factors through established procedures.
  • Provide approved program information using established scripts, talking points, or procedures; do not provide legal advice.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and comply with standards of conduct during all participant, family, and household interactions.
  • Protect sensitive participant, program, and Government‑related information.
  • Follow all field safety, travel, deployment, communication, and situational awareness protocols.
  • Maintain accurate calendars, travel records, mileage documentation, communication logs, case notes, and visit documentation.
  • Participate in required training, operational briefings, quality assurance activities, and staff meetings.
  • Travel extensively within assigned regions, including short‑notice travel and overnight travel when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, family studies, public health, public administration, emergency management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social services, case management support, child welfare support, youth services, family services, community outreach, crisis response, residential/community visits, human services field work, or similar work.
  • Ability to travel frequently on short notice via air and/or ground transportation, including evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet company travel and motor vehicle requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in residential and community‑based field environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare accurate, objective, and timely documentation and reports.
  • Ability to interact professionally with vulnerable populations and culturally diverse individuals in stressful or sensitive situations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards at all times.
  • Proficiency using smartphones, tablets, Microsoft Office, email, and electronic documentation systems.
