The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is seeking a Diversion Assistant to support walk-in clients by identifying safe alternatives to shelter entry. You will collect information, provide immediate problem-solving, and coordinate resources to reduce shelter demand.
Under supervision, you will document outcomes, assist housing counselors, and ensure timely follow-up. Flexibility for some evenings/weekends is preferred, with a goal of diverting at least 30 clients per month.
