Job Description

The ARISE Analytics - Platform team is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Software Engineer to join our team. On this team you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the underlying platforms that enable our developers to build, deploy, and manage applications efficiently. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and meet the evolving needs of our business.

The ARISE Analytics team works closely with A/AI Research engineers, so a working understanding of Machine Learning principles is desirable. Candidates applying to this position should have a Bachelor's degree, or greater, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field with significant software development experience.

You Will Be Doing
  • Collaborate with other platform engineers to design, develop, and deploy services such as CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and service meshes.
  • Develop and maintain platform automation scripts and tools using languages like Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
  • Participate in the development of platform architecture and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Work with development teams to onboard applications onto the platform and provide support for platform‑related issues.
  • Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure platform security and compliance.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve platform capabilities.
  • Document platform architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures.

Ability to work remotely

Part‑time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim secret is required to start.
