Senior Full Stack Developer

Orlando, FL hybrid 1-2 days/week onsite

12-month contract + potential extensions and/or opportunity to convert to full time with the client

Up to $89/hour depending on skills and experience

This role supports the development and enhancement of customer-facing digital applications. The Senior Full Stack Developer will focus on building scalable, high-quality backend services while collaborating closely with product, mobile, and design teams to deliver new features and optimize performance.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to plan and implement features
• Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code using modern development practices
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical design discussions
• Troubleshoot defects, optimize system performance, and support releases
• Contribute to improvements in development processes and technical architecture
• Support production systems, including occasional on-call responsibilities

• Hands-on senior engineering role with high ownership and impact
• Modern tech stack with cloud-native and containerized services
• Collaborative, Agile environment with cross-functional teams
• Opportunity to influence architecture, best practices, and delivery processes
• Fully remote flexibility (if applicable)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5–8 years of experience developing Java-based RESTful applications
• 2+ years of backend development using Type Script
• Strong experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and web services
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Knowledge of performance optimization, scalability, and security best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with Type Script frameworks such as NestJS
• Familiarity with OWASP security standards
• Experience supporting production systems and on-call rotations
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
