Job Overview
You will be a Software Engineer Asc on our team at Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a leading designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems. This role focuses on embedded and desktop software development for multi‑core systems, sensor emulation, and countermeasure applications.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications.
- Perform requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and integration for embedded multi‑core systems as well as desktop applications that emulate sensors and countermeasures.
- Leverage experience in C/C++, GUI development, and Linux operating systems.
- Must be or be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related software discipline.
- Demonstrated software development experience in C/C++.
- Ability to obtain a DoD clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Software configuration management.
- Full software life‑cycle development.
- Prior software development internships.
- Software integration and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile practices.
Position is onsite in Orlando, Florida. The work schedule consists of 4×10‑hour days with 3 days off per week. Flexibility options are available within a standard 40‑hour week.
Security ClearanceThis position requires a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, with company‑sponsored interim clearance at the start of employment.
