The WorkThe Software Configuration Management (SCM) team supports our media prep function on the Joint Strike Fighter Training & Logistics program. The team’s mission is to maintain the integrity and traceability of the software released by the program to its customers.
Responsibilities- Track and install software on training devices
- Maintain database of program software and data
- Assign unique identifiers to software and data used by training devices
- Perform software installations on training devices
- Support routine engineering reviews and configuration audits
- Review changes to software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
- Ensure that data and physical media have all appropriate labels and markings
- Disseminate data to the program and government customers
Note:
This position requires on-site presence in the Orlando office to meet client needs. Seeking individuals with the ability to intermittently flex work hours to support program schedules.

Who You AreYou're the key figure in managing hardware/software tracking, leading engineering efforts, ensuring compliance, resolving issues, and supporting project activities.
RequirementsThis position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
A level 2 employee is typically an early career engineer with 2 or more years of professional experience.
Desired Skills- Experience with Software Configuration Management in the Defense Industry
- Experience with software development and design
- Experience in software artifact storage systems such as Nexus or Artifactory
- Demonstrated skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
