Position: Senior Software Engineer (Contractor)
This role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor engagement (not a W-2 employee position), with responsibility for managing individual tax and benefit obligations; however, there is potential for future conversion to a full-time employee role based on performance, business needs, and mutual alignment

Our Engineering Team

At Enludio, we believe that having a talented engineering team in a supportive work environment is essential for delivering exceptional projects and user experiences. Our engineering team collaborates closely with all production departments, including Project Management, Creative, and Quality Assurance, to develop engaging solutions for our clients.

Because our projects involve hands-on work with specialized hardware and labs, it's essential that you reside in or near the Orlando area and can commute as needed.

Your Role

As a Software Engineer specializing in Real Time 3D technologies, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative solutions from concept to implementation. You will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge applications that leverage game engines and immersive technologies. Collaborating closely with a team of experts in a dynamic environment, you will tackle complex challenges, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with various platforms.

Your contributions will help drive the evolution of spatial computing, enhancing user experiences and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in this exciting field.

What You'll Do

• Solve complex problems in real time systems using game engines, sensor fusion, simulation, and spatial computing.
• Contribute to the design and development of innovative solutions for client projects and internal products.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions and knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and enhance client experiences.

What You'll Need

• Experience working with a variety of programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, etc.
• Experience working with emerging technologies and real-time platforms (Unity, Unreal, or Omniverse) to push the boundaries of immersive experiences
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self motivated with minimal supervision with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Have But Not Necessary

• Experience in the Simulation & Training, Themed Entertainment, or Gaming industries
• Experience with various headsets such as Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Magic Leap, Apple Vision Pro, etc
• Experience in a high autonomy startup environment, showcasing adaptability & discipline.
• Enthusiasm for innovation in immersive experiences and a drive to constantly push creative boundaries.
