What You Will Be Doing

You will be a Strategic Software Staff Engineer with the ability to capture and derive requirements, perform CSCI/CSC/CSU decomposition, detailed design work, and bench level testing. You will manage requirements capture, detailed design, implementation, and integration of a new System on a Chip (SoC) design for Block 1.1. You will support all data link software design, including RF waveform implementation, incorporation of Simulink Coder into software, cryptographic algorithm development and debugging, and low-speed messaging and communication with external peripherals.

Prior experience with Microchip SoCs, Xilinx SoCs, UVM, and Git Lab is preferred.

• Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications.
• Design, code, test, and integrate software for an embedded multi‑core system as well as desktop applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures.
• Apply training in C/C++, GUI development, and Linux OS.

• Proven experience in Hardware‑Software Integration and Validation.
• Advanced experience with electronics design and troubleshooting activities.
• Required experience in Bare Metal Programming.

• Experience with management of Configuration Control (Git Lab preferred).
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging with board‑level testing and FPGA/SW validation.
• Experience carrying a design through product lifecycle (architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration & test).
• Preferred experience in using digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and other test equipment.

This position requires a government security clearance. The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen, obtain a secret clearance, and a company‑sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start the position.

Position is onsite in Orlando, Florida.
