We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Software Engineering Manager for the F-35 JSF Maintenance System organization which is responsible for developing, securing, deploying, and operating cloud-native platforms and applications that support F-35 sustainment worldwide. What You Will Be Doing As the Software Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading a cloud-infrastructure team that delivers secure, high-performance platforms and services for the F-35 program.

* Drive technical Dev Sec Ops  best practices across development teams and ensure successful production delivery.
* Implement AI-enhanced development standards to improve code quality, testing, and delivery speed.
* Design and build cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Experience in cloud platform engineering, Dev Sec Ops , Site Reliability Engineering, or Kubernetes-based software development is essential. Basic Qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related STEM degree OR Non-technical degree with relevant working experience
• Five years of hands-on experience with cloud-native development frameworks and tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible cloud-native platforms, infrastructure automation
• You have experience leading software engineering, cloud platform engineering, Dev Sec Ops , or infrastructure engineering teams supporting a software-intensive product
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, or Dev Sec Ops  practices in cloud-native environments Desired

Skills:

• Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes-based platforms, including management of supporting infrastructure such as Keycloak, Elastic Stack, observability tooling, and platform services.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, encryption methods, identity, and access management (IAM).
• Hands-on experience implementing Agentic AI assisted software development
• Experience developing applications within a Dev Sec Ops  environment
• Experience with Project Management principles, including Earned Value, staffing plans, and technical training and career development plans
• Experience with DoD Platform One or similar Dev Sec Ops  software architectures Security Clearance Statement:
