Job Description
- We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with full stack design, development, unit testing experience writing interfaces using Java GCPGKE/MongoDB. They must apply practical knowledge of development and engineering to conceive, design, develop, test, and implement software fixes, improvements, components, and/or new integrations and applications of moderate to high complexity. This would be done using modern software development paradigms (e.g., CI/CD, agile, product, GCP).
The right candidate must have experience within the Supply Chain domain, with Crunch time and/or Blue Yonder Forecasting and Replenishment. The individual must be able to work on a team and have experience using Gitlab and Splunk.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for creating data mappings, extracts, transformations, data migration, and uploads.
- Configures supply chain technology for business use.
- Owns SQL and script programming, validation, testing, and debugging of applications after data loads.
- Gathers reporting requirements, designs reports, and develops reports for business use.
- Creates stories in JIRA backlogs and participates in agile ceremonies.
- Reviews and writes code that meets set quality gates.
- Creates/updates documentation for reproducible data loading and configuration.
- Interacts and coordinates work with other technical and testing groups in the organization.
- Coordinates team members in finding root-cause of problems and issue resolution.
- Recommends improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team.
