Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer with expertise in cloud-native development, Dev Ops practices, and software engineering. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance infrastructure and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems related to data management, distributed systems, and performance  a technical leader, you will deliver efficient and well-documented code, propose robust architectural approaches, and mentor peers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance infrastructure and systems across diverse domains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, and product teams to solve complex problems.
• Deliver efficient, well-documented code with strong attention to time and space complexity.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Lab or Git Hub.
• Propose scalable, low-latency, and reliable architectural approaches.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to peers.
• Stay current with modern cloud and software engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

5+ years of software development experience across diverse technical domains, with demonstrated ability in data management and distributed systems.

Technical

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Python for backend or infrastructure development.
• Strong Dev Ops experience, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), testing, and automation.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions with AWS services, especially IAM, S3, Kinesis, Lambda, and SNS.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or AWS CDK.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS networking.
• Experience with AWS CDK, CDKTF, or Pulumi.
• Deep object-oriented programming experience.
• Familiarity with Datadog, Snowflake, Airflow, or DBT.
• Proficiency in a statically typed language such as Type Script or Java.
• Understanding of data architecture trade-offs, including SQL vs No
  
  SQL, data partitioning, and data warehouses.
• Experience with low-level software design decisions, such as data structures and code organization.
• Knowledge of modern trends and emerging technologies in cloud engineering and data systems.
• Passion for creating reusable components and identifying opportunities for platform-level improvements.
