Join the Orange County Parks and Recreation team as a Lifeguard! We're looking for responsible and dedicated individuals to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our visitors. As a lifeguard, you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, providing top‑tier customer service, and responding to any emergencies. No experience? No problem! We offer American Red Cross Lifeguard training to all qualified candidates.

• Rescuing bathers in distress and/or drowning situations; administering resuscitations and first aid, required.
• Enforcing the rules and regulations related to swimming areas.
• Resolving complaints and maintaining good public relations with the patrons.
• Maintaining order and discipline among bathers and other persons in assigned area.
• Maintaining the general appearance and cleanliness of assigned area when lifeguard duties permit.

• SWIMMERS!!!
• Must pass American Red Cross Deep Water Lifeguard Swim Test.
• All selected candidates must pass required certifications:
  American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid. (Certifications provided by Orange County Parks and Recreation)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
