Job Summary
The CDL Independent Contractor transports empty passenger vehicles to clients across the country. The driver follows DOT guidelines while operating the passenger vehicles, managing scheduling independently without forced dispatch.
Essential Functions- Determine delivery details for each assignment.
- Ensure bus or van has sufficient fuel at all times.
- Inform clients and dispatch of potential delays.
- Follow DOT regulations for breaks.
- Deliver passenger vehicles to clients on or before each deadline.
- Complete, store, and submit all necessary documentation.
- Pay all pertinent tolls during travel.
- Track reasonable expenses and submit proof for refunds.
- Report all vehicle-related issues for urgent attention.
- Proficient in use of technology, including smartphone.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Decision‑making.
- Safety‑mindful.
- Good driving record.

Physical DemandsOperations include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle tools or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs, talking or hearing. May lift or move office products and supplies up to 50 pounds.
Required Education/Experience/Certifications- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Relevant CDL with P endorsement.
As needed to deliver and pick up assignments.
