We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the “extra mile” philosophy to fulfill our Mechanical SVC Parts Runner role.
The Mechanical SVC Parts Runner is responsible for picking up and/or returning replacement parts that are needed to service Snider’s mechanical customers.
What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:
- Perform core returns to ensure a profitable operation.
- Pick needed parts from various supply warehouses and manufacture dealerships.
- Return unneeded inventory for credit on Snider’s charge accounts.
- Effectively communicate all necessary information with the techs, mechanical parts specialist, and mechanical operations manager in order to ensure proper part is ordered and/or received.
- Conducts daily reviews of parts room/warehouse, parts trucks, and equipment in order to ensure safety, compliance, cleanliness, and organization.
- Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE, and demonstrate safety conscious mindset.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance, show up to work on time and in the correct uniform.
- Adheres to all policies, procedures, and values of Snider Fleet Solutions.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Education or
Experience:
- Must have a clean driving record.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid Class C Driver's License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
- Safety conscious at all times.
- Must have organizational and time management skills, as well as close attention to detail.
- Reliable and dependable with self‑initiative.
- Ability to multi‑task, work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.
- Must exemplify sound decision‑making skills and be able to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
