Position Description

Truck Driver – Class A CDL – SOLO Home Daily at Ryder System – Orlando, FL.

We are hiring immediately for a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL driver. The position includes a weekly base pay of $1,114 or more, route pay starting at $294 per day, and a safety bonus of $250 every quarter. The driver works Monday‑Friday from 7:00p.m. to 5:00a.m., delivering locally within Florida and Georgia.

• Minimum age 21
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, DOT physical, and road test
• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements
• At least 9 months of tractor‑trailer experience within past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and applying laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Unload/ load freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
