Salary: $160,000 - $174,000 + benefits
Summary
Our client, a leader in advanced training and simulation technologies, is seeking an experienced AH-64E LCT Instructor/Operator to support aviation training operations. This role is based out of Alabama with long-term overseas deployment supporting mission-critical training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain liaison with aviation customers to coordinate simulator scheduling and training activities
- Prepare and submit simulator flight hour utilization and scheduling reports
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight simulator inspections, operational readiness checks, and maintenance test flights
- Deliver instructor pilot services, including aircraft systems, mission scenarios, instrument flight, and emergency procedures
- Provide IOS support including ATC simulation, weather control, and fault insertion
- Conduct training, evaluation, and examination of pilots in accordance with applicable aviation standards
- Review flight planning, provide instruction, and support aircrew throughout training sessions
- Perform debriefings, grading, and documentation of training events
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for simulator training programs
- Serve as subject matter expert on aviation procedures, training manuals, and simulator operations
- Recommend improvements to simulator performance, software, and training materials
- Significant military aviation experience
- Certified Instructor Pilot
- Prior AH-64E LCT experience
- Instructor Operator Station (IOS) experience
- 10+ years of experience in simulation, supervisory roles, or program management
- Strong communication, writing, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage schedules, training plans, and customer relationships
- Valid passport and driver's license
- Company-provided housing during deployment (furnished, utilities included)
