Position: A/P Aircraft MechanicShift: Varies based on business needs. Schedules are awarded through a union shift bid process by seniority. Recruiters and hiring leaders will review shift details during the pre‑screen and in interview process. Bring your A&P. We’ll bring the Airbus.

As an A/P Aircraft Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ, you’ll maintain our Airbus A320 fleet to Frontier procedures and FAA standards, keeping aircraft safe, compliant, and departure‑ready. We fly because you make it possible.
CompensationBase pay: $29.39/hour (increases to $29.90/hour after 90 days). Additional hourly premiums (as applicable): $1.20/hr— Airframe (A) license; $1.20/hr— Powerplant (P) license; $1.00/hr— Run/Taxi qualified (after training); $0.75/hr— Graveyard shift differential; $0.75/hr— 3+ years Airbus experience + General Familiarization certified (or after training); $0.75/hr— 3+ years Airbus experience + Troubleshooting certified (or after training);
Premiums may be stackable depending on qualifications and shift.

Hands‑on training and premium pay opportunities (A/P, run/taxi, shift differential, Airbus experience/certs).
- Perform A/P aircraft maintenance on Airbus A320‑series or similar transport‑category aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations (FARs) and Frontier procedures.
- Document inspections, repairs, and component work in required aircraft maintenance records, logbooks, work cards, and maintenance tracking systems (including MEL/CDL/NEF and FMIS entries as required).
- Maintain strong housekeeping, FOD awareness, and positive tool control to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Operate GSE, airport‑qualified vehicles, and perform engine runs / aircraft taxi when trained and authorized.
- Complete required maintenance training and build qualifications through structured on‑the‑job learning.
- (Interior Crew) Remove, repair, and reinstall aircraft interiors (seats, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, ceilings, flooring).
- FAA certificated mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Ability to acquire, hold, maintain, and execute the use of a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
- Requires two (2) years of experience performing maintenance in the following areas on A320 series or large similar type aircraft: maintenance checks, engine changes, landing gear changes, structural repairs, flight control rigging, component maintenance on A320 series aircraft or larger similar type aircraft or successful completion of accredited A/P mechanic training course.
- When directed by management, must obtain taxi and run‑up qualification on all aircraft types within six months of assignment in Line Maintenance.
