LMG is seeking a Part-Time Transportation Specialist to support transportation coordination, scheduling, and administrative logistics for live event production. This role helps ensure equipment moves accurately and efficiently while supporting transportation-related documentation, freight coordination, invoicing, and communication across internal teams and vendors.

What You’ll Be DoingAs a Transportation Specialist
, you will support transportation coordination, invoice processing, logistics communication, and administrative workflow to ensure equipment movement and transportation records remain accurate and organized.
- Transportation Coordination – Schedule pickups, deliveries, and returns for equipment moving to and from show sites while coordinating timing, routing, and operational needs
- Vendor & Driver Communication – Communicate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams regarding transportation details, scheduling updates, and operational changes
- Manifest & Documentation Verification – Review manifests, bills of lading (BOLs), delivery paperwork, and return documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Transportation Tracking – Monitor transportation progress and provide timely updates on shipment status and delivery timelines
- Freight Coordination Support – Assist with freight quoting, truck type coordination, transportation planning, and basic freight research as needed
- Invoice Processing & Review – Review transportation invoices for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with manifests and transportation records
- Discrepancy Resolution – Identify invoice or transportation discrepancies and coordinate corrections with vendors or internal teams
- Purchase Order Support – Assist with transportation‑related purchase orders and support invoice reconciliation processes
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain organized transportation records, schedules, communication logs, and reporting documentation
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with Equipment Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Show Services, and other teams to support transportation execution and operational success
- Operational Support – Assist with transportation‑related problem solving, delays, schedule adjustments, and occasional after‑hours urgencies when required
- Experience in transportation coordination, logistics, dispatching, or related operational roles preferred
- Experience processing invoices, purchase orders, or administrative documentation preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with drivers, vendors, and internal teams
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with manifests, bills of lading (BOLs), freight documentation, or transportation paperwork preferred
- Experience in live events, AV, or production logistics is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
