This is a local, hourly position that allows you to be home every night

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring a Local Truck Delivery Driver to pick up and deliver customer tires and wheels using a 26' truck (up to 26,000 lbs). This is a customer-facing role that follows assigned routes and schedules. Safe driving, reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication are key to getting the job done right and keeping customers satisfied.

Responsibilities:

* Operate a 26 foot truck to deliver commercial tires, wheels, and other items

* Ensure proper loading/unloading of inventory and ensuring paperwork is correct

* Maintain a safe driving record, follow all safety rules/PPE requirements, and conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections

* Keep truck clean, stocked, and maintained

* Support warehouse/service staff with tire handling and equipment use

* Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding schedules, delays, violations, accidents, or breakdowns

* Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to policies and procedures

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 21 years old

* At least 1+ years of experience (preferably within the industry)

* Must have a clean driving record

* Ability to pass backgrounds screening and insurable by company standards

Certificates and Licenses:

* Valid Driver's License and must be insurable to drive by company standards

* DOT Medical Certification (upon hire)

Skills and Abilities

* Ability to pass background checks and drug screen

* Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills

* Ability to use road maps, smart phones, and GPS devices

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints

* Must be able to work in a results-oriented fast-paced environment

* Reliable and dependable with self-initiative
