Job Summary: Seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator (Cherry Picker/Sit-down) to join our Orlando team. This position is responsible for operating sit-down and cherry pickers to move, locate, stack, and count materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has experience with powered industrial trucks and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers to transport materials safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage racks
- Pick and stage orders accurately using a cherry picker
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
- Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Must know how to use RF Scanner
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous forklift experience required (sit-down and cherry picker)
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to work at heights and in narrow aisles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic math and reading skills for order accuracy
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- Frequent lifting, bending, and standing
- Operation of heavy machinery and powered equipment
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
