Overview
Delivery Truck Driver position for US Foods at the Groveland Yard. Training wage starts at $25.00 per hour
. Local routes with home every night.
Work schedule:
Monday–Saturday, early morning until finished.
- Deliver best-in-class customer service.
- Deliver customers' orders to meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity.
- Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area.
- Able to perform repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
- Make frequent stops during a work shift.
- Deliver product in inclement weather conditions.
- Verify delivery of items with customers.
- Collect money (cash or checks) where needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have valid CDL A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualification.
- Minimum 6 months of commercial truck driving experience or 3 months of food service or food and beverage truck delivery experience.
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, skills, function, location, and other factors as applicable by law. During training, candidates are paid $25 per hour
. After training, the expected rate for this role is between $65,000 and $90,000 per year with incentive pay. Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week. Paid training and overtime.
