The Logistics Specialist (LS) is responsible for loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS represents Tire Hub professionally in all customer interactions and maintains safe driving practices while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong customer relationships.

Compensation: This position has a starting wage of $19.00 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment.

Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday – Fluctuating day shift hours

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery services, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles.
  • Follows safety standards for selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders, positioning them using the bin locator system.
  • Operates forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, ensuring safety protocols.
  • Conducts cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control.
  • Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
  • Maintains vehicles, performs daily pre/post‑trip inspections, and reports issues.
  • Completes driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
  • Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Participates in ongoing training (in‑person or computer‑based).
  • Completes other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of general work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 2 years of driving history (excluding permit).
  • 19 years old or older.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Repeatedly lift, pull, push and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs) with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Capable of frequent bending, twisting and lifting.
  • Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Accurately and efficiently load, unload, and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
  • Work up to 35 feet above ground level.
  • Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift.
  • Follow traffic rules and regulations driving Tire Hub vehicles.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.
  • Maintain forklift certification and valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions
  • Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs or greater) following safety procedures.
  • Stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance regularly.
  • May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment.
  • Specific vision requirements may include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work in warehouses and customer locations, both climate‑controlled and non‑controlled.
  • Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required with little to no advanced notice.
  • Driving during nighttime or inclement weather may be required.
  • Must not exceed 400 lbs in weight or 6 ft 3 in height.
