Average annual salary $80,000–$100,000+ per year includes:

• Hourly pay $40.00 per hour

• Typically home daily with some overnight trips (≈20% of the time); stays in company‑paid hotel
• 24/7 delivery operation; some routes include weekends and/or holidays
• Days and start times vary; work until the job is completed (typically 10–14 hours per day)
• Routes awarded by bidding board based on seniority; typically takes 1–2 years to access the most desirable routes
• Make 2–10 stops per day; routes may cover surrounding states
• Must be flexible; schedule may change based on business needs

• Route delivery, driver unload, lift‑gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2‑wheel hand cart operations
• Touch freight and case delivery of food‑grade products to warehouses and end‑users
• Drive CDL A day cabs with 53' trailers to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
• Secure pallets using straps; strap and unstrap at each delivery
• Document pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
• Provide excellent customer service
• Check mechanical aspects of the vehicle
• Report maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers

• Minimum age 21 years
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes endorsement
• Current DOT Medical Card; able to pass pre‑employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
• Minimum 100,000 miles and/or 1 year CDL A driving experience
• Prior local route delivery experience highly preferred (local, multiple‑stop delivery using hand cart, ramp, pallet jack)
• Excellent physical condition; able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and use normal senses
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions (hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors)
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
• Must pass pre‑hire drug screen and physical
• Able to lift, push, pull 15–20 pounds with no assistance
