Fleet Operations Manager
Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 annually
About the RoleThis is a corporate office-based fleet management position focused on fleet administration, reporting, compliance, vehicle lifecycle management, telematics, and vendor coordination. This is not a field-based transportation or dispatch management role.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, assignment, maintenance, and replacement.
- Oversee repairs, insurance claims, registrations, and fleet compliance requirements.
- Coordinate driver onboarding, safety training, performance monitoring, and accountability programs.
- Conduct fleet audits and maintain accurate vehicle, maintenance, and compliance records.
- Monitor GPS and telematics systems to track vehicle usage and optimize fleet performance.
- Analyze fleet data and prepare reports on utilization, costs, and operational trends.
- Manage vendor relationships and service providers.
- Associate degree (AA) required.
- Minimum 5 years of fleet management experience.
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, compliance, and safety programs.
- Experience with Excel, fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and reporting tools.
