Responsibilitiesfor a Logistics Specialist
- Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
- Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; communicate load status to receivers and customers
- Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify loads arrive on time and in good condition
- Take check calls from drivers and validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes
- Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages; complete proper documentation
- Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments and accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers
- Provide detailed routing directions and instructions to drivers
- At least 1 year of logistics experience
- General knowledge of the transportation industry
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Pay: $18.00

Schedule:
Sunday - Wednesday, 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Thursday, Friday and Saturday OFF)

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
