Flex Truck Driver - Class A Hazmat

Compensation

• Average $98,000 annually
• Driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Travel required, up to 100%

• Dispatch times vary depending on work assignment
• Drivers travel to assigned location and work from there for the duration of the assignment

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Applicants must be U.S. domiciled and licensed in their state of residence
• Non-exempt interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency mandated by federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Ability to work the required schedule and location, complete Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening
• Compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

• Must be able to see and hear, with specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms
• Must lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) routinely, and may lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
