Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class A CDL driver with tanker driving experience to join our Orlando team. The driver will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
This highly motivated and safety‑first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and keeping strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
This position reports to the Transportation Manager.
Responsibilities- Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including tankers, vacuum trucks, tractor‑trailers, roll‑offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
- Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Properly secure loads to ensure safe and compliant transportation of materials.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- 1‑3 years tanker/vacuum truck driving experience.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre‑employment physical, and drug screening (inclusive of THC).
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
- Willing to work flexible hours and overtime on a regular basis.
- Eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Previous experience in environmental services or a related field.
