CDL Driver Class A

Role Overview:
The Class A CDL Driver supports environmental response, remediation, and transportation operations by safely operating heavy and light-duty trucks, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, at various sites. They perform both driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup, soil excavation, containment, waste removal, and site decontamination.

• Operate environmental response equipment and vehicles in compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA standards.
• Assist in emergency response, cleanup, and remediation activities involving hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Conduct site preparation, containment, and decontamination procedures.
• Complete documentation such as safety reports, job hazard analyses, and logs.
• Transport waste materials safely, perform vehicle inspections, and ensure secure cargo loads.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and clients.

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• 1-2 years of CDL driving experience with a clean MVR; environmental or industrial experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, OSHA standards; mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ELD systems, and safety documentation tools.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
