** Key Responsibilities
** As a Residential Driver, you are the face of GFL. You will:
* Operate with Pride:
Safely navigate residential neighborhoods in rear-load trucks to collect waste, yard waste, and recyclables.
* Master the Equipment:
Utilize hydraulic systems and compaction units with precision to maximize efficiency and minimize mechanical wear.
* Safety First:
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. At GFL, if it isn’t safe, we don’t do it.
* Customer Excellence:
Provide courteous service to our neighbors, ensuring routes are completed accurately and containers are handled with care.###
** What You’ll Need (Requirements)
*** The License: A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
* The

Experience:

At least 1 year of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
* The Mindset: A commitment to safety-sensitive functions and a clean driving record.
* The Grit:
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
* The

Skills:

Strong spatial awareness (backing into tight spaces) and a professional demeanor.###
