Warehouse Associate - CT; Orlando, Florida,

Overview

Dal-Tile seeks a Warehouse Associate to perform material handling duties including receiving, loading/unloading, pulling/assembling customer orders, and inventory checks. The position requires daily use of forklifts and/or cranes.

• Pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products, maintain displays, move, store, replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
• Receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns, and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate crane forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, cleaning restroom, and performing general office maintenance.
• May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
• Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules and reporting accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• Crane forklift experience.
• 1+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail-oriented, safety-conscious.

Requires standing, using hands, and reaching. Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must lift 15–30 lbs regularly, and can lift up to 70 lbs. Operates lifts for items over 36 inches or 70 lbs. Requires good vision. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
