Warehouse Associate III

The ideal candidate has strong experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling, with the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment used in utility operations. This position requires a high level of accuracy in maintaining inventory records, operating warehouse equipment, and preparing and staging materials for field crews. Strong communication and customer services skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

* High school diploma or GED;

* Minimum of six (6) months of warehousing or related experience;

* Class A Florida CDL or completion within 6 months to 1 year of hire;

* Forklift Certification required within 60 days of employment;

* Warehousing, electrical, mechanical and instrumentation background, preferred;

* Customer service skills,

Salary Range:
Starting at $24.984 per hour (Estimated $51,966.00 annually) with a structured step progression system and performance-based pay increases every 6 months up to $30.031 per hour (Estimated $62,464.48 annually)

Job Purpose:

Under direct supervision, perform all basic warehouse functions including issue, receive, pickup/deliver materials; cycle counting, work rotating shifts, call-out, cross train and support customer needs.

Primary Functions:

* Assist on daily safety checks of all logistics equipment, i.e., trucks, forklifts, aisle stackers, etc., before operating;

* Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse;

* Train and learn to Issue materials into the OUC (Enterprise One) computer system and Barcode Scanner;

* Mark and/or label materials with identifying information;

* Assist in the delivery of materials to operating crews;

* Assist in keeping free bins stocked to proper levels;

* Assist in the pick-up / delivery of material from OUC suppliers;

* Use OUC equipment for storage and retrieval of materials when accompanied by a senior Warehouse Associate;

* Perform other duties as assigned.
