Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe warehouse operations at the Stuart, Florida warehouse. This hands‑on leadership role drives operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction by overseeing the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and delivery of materials. The Supervisor ensures compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
The essential functions of the job include the following:
- Supervise all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including unloading, racking, picking, staging, and shipping.
- Ensure all materials are handled, stored, and delivered accurately and safely.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager to improve warehouse performance and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient facility aligned with company and customer standards.
- Assist in maintaining facility security and compliance with site‑specific safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory balances and location control using eWMS and SAP.
- Perform and oversee goods receipts, transfers, and adjustments in SAP/EWMS.
- Ensure real‑time accuracy of RF scan transactions and system updates.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly and report variances to Operations.
- Support regular cycle counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to material accuracy.
- Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink‑wrap equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform and document daily forklift safety inspections, Equipment logs, report maintenance issues immediately.
- Promote and enforce site safety practices, including PPE usage, traffic management, and emergency procedures.
- Support safety meetings and training initiatives to maintain a zero‑incident workplace.
- Serve as primary on‑site contact for Production, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics.
- Communicate shipment and receiving status updates to customer stakeholders.
- Report any quality, damage, or unidentified material issues promptly.
- Support customer audits and provide accurate records and reports as required.
- Track and report daily activity metrics (receipts, shipments, on‑time performance, inventory accuracy).
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assist in employee training, performance feedback, and adherence to SOPs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Experience in using SAP, eWMS, or similar inventory management systems required.
- Prior forklift certification and RF scanning experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Proficient with RF scanners and basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate others.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Forklift operation (stand‑up and sit‑down); certification preferred.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
