Inventory Associate

Job Title: Inventory Associate
Location: Orlando, FL
Job Type: Contract
Hours: 40/week
Shift: B Shift M-F 3pm-1:30am
Pay Rate: $24 - $25.60/hour

• Continuous improvement: evaluate, monitor, and report roadblocks that could cause defects downstream; support root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Operate heavy equipment (PIT equipment, forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, reach‑trucks, turret‑trucks) safely and maintain operational knowledge.
• Unload shipments delivered by carriers.
• Inspect shipments to ensure they meet standard operating procedures.
• Perform quality control checks for each part number according to procedures.
• Document receipts and use inventory tools to upload, store, and close out receipts or work orders.
• Enter data in the inventory management tool, navigating modules and retrieving necessary information.
• Package parts appropriately for any stage of the fulfillment or manufacturing workflow.
• Sort, stage, and move packages or containers while ensuring they are securely identified to prevent loss.
• Label and mark parts, following identifiers in the standard operating procedure.
• Store items according to standard operating procedures, audit storage locations, and use good judgment for individual or bulk parts.

• 2+ years of fulfillment center operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols, wearing PPE, and participating in safety training.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• World‑class quality mindset, attention to detail, and dedication.
• Strong communication skills in a highly technical environment.
• Analytical mathematical skills to define problems, collect relevant data, and draw reasonable conclusions.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
• Trustworthiness, professionalism, and contribution to a culture of inclusion.
• Certified forklift experience.

• Warehouse/receiving/inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
