Material Handlers are needed at our Orlando location, working 7:00 PM until 5:30 AM, four days per week. Sundays are a required work day.
What You Will DoThe Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by accurately retrieving and placing specified products and quantities onto conveyors, ensuring the work is completed safely, efficiently, and with precision.
Roles and Responsibilities- Assist and facilitate case picking and sorting within the automated environment using computers, software, and complex machines while adhering to all established Coke Florida safety procedures and policies.
- Collaborate within a team environment to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes.
- Adapt to the needs of the role and maintain knowledge of working in different work areas throughout the workday while meeting the minimum expectations of those areas, including HQS, semi‑automated lanes, pallet pick, and flow rack.
- Assist in the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse, keeping the work area free of trash and debris, and cleaning spills following waste removal and recycling protocols.
- Work safely, accurately, and efficiently to control warehouse inventory and keep shrink at an acceptable level.
- Monitor lane photo‑eye alignments.
- Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of a dynamic automated warehouse.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge acquired through 1–2 years of work experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while walking and repeatedly lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes.
- Ability to transition between different work areas as needed throughout the workday.
- Ability to read and interpret system instructions on a monitor screen.
- Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages.
- Capability to work in a noisy, non‑climate‑controlled environment, including high and low temperatures.
- Self‑starter who takes initiative and proactively seeks value‑add opportunities.
- Scheduling flexibility required as work hours are subject to change based on business demands.
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Ability to push and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching about the head, at the waist, below the knees, and bending the knees.
- Ability to push and pull manual transport equipment (e.g., pallet jack or hand truck) containing product loads up to a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
- Ability to grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.
- Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities.
- Ability to stand the majority of the scheduled shift.
- Ability to walk a minimum of 4 hours during the workday.
- Frequently working in a hot/humid indoor environment.
