Delivery Driver

Job Description Summary/Objective

This is an all-inclusive Delivery Driver/warehouse job. Employees will perform many tasks pertaining to the organization, picking orders, receiving goods, delivery driving, and inventory management. Coordinate inventory, logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service activities as it pertains to the warehouse. Employees will spend long periods of time in the freezer organizing as production brings new inventory in. Picking and packing orders for delivery and make the delivery to the customer.

Keeping warehouse clean and organized always. While maintaining and working under all food safety codes as required in the SQF code and Muse Gelato Food Safety Manual. This position is required to assist in the cleaning and sanitation of all warehouse areas.

• Ensures customer satisfaction, interface with sales, production, labs, regulatory, and quality ensuring that Muse's customer service creates competitive advantage in marketplace including resolving critical customer complaints.
• Deliver products to customers or freight company.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations as defined by Muse Gelato’s Foods Safety Manual and the HACCP based SQF polices.
• Constantly and DAILY rearrange the freezer storage to accommodate new production coming in.
• Maintain organization of the freezer and warehouse to ensure first in and first our rotations.
• Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles and warehouse equipment by monitoring daily and or weekly safety checks and scheduling dates and times for vehicles or equipment to be maintained.
• Communicate and work with upper management on resolving issues and situations in the warehouse.
• Receive inventory and record lot numbers as required.
• Inspect delivery truck. Cleaning delivery truck frequently.
• Cleaning the warehouse by sweeping, mopping, organizing and sanitizing door handles.

• Ability to safely use a forklift and pallet jack

This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as computers, phones, forklift, and trucks.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is required to be able to lift 50 pounds or more safely. The employee will be working in environmental conditions of the freezer which can drop to below 15 F. Warehouse temperatures during peak weather conditions can rise to degrees of 85 F or slightly higher.

No travel is expected for this position.

• Forklift Safety Training
• 5+ years in warehouse and logistics environment
• Basic Computer Skills
• Clean driving record
• Familiar with the metro Orlando area
• Delivered to the local theme parks

• Manufacturing, Food service, Basic Computer Skills

Must be eligible to work in the USA.
