Position:
Material Handlers – Orlando Warehouse

The Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by accurately retrieving and placing specified products and quantities onto conveyors. Work is performed safely, efficiently, and with precision.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist and facilitate case picking and sorting within the automated environment using computers, software, and complex machines while adhering to all established safety procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate within a team environment to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes.
  • Adapt to the needs of the role and maintain knowledge of working in different work areas throughout the workday, including HQS, Semi‑Automated Lanes, pallet pick, and Flow Rack.
  • Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse, keeping the work area free of trash and debris, cleaning spills, and following all waste removal and recycling protocols.
  • Work safely, accurately, and efficiently to control warehouse inventory and keep shrink at an acceptable level.
  • Monitors lane Photo Eye alignments.
  • Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of a dynamic automated warehouse.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred.
  • Knowledge acquired through 1–2 years of work experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes.
  • Ability to transition between different work areas as needed throughout the workday.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions from the system on the monitor screen.
  • Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, non‑climate‑controlled environment, including high and low temperatures.
  • Intentional self‑starter who takes initiative and proactively seeks out value‑add opportunities.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required, as work hours may change based on business demands.
Physical Requirements
  • Repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching above the head, reaching at the waist, reaching below the knees, and bending at the knees.
  • Repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (e.g., pallet jack or hand truck) containing product loads up to a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
  • Repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.
  • Exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities.
  • Stand for the majority of the scheduled shift.
  • Walk a minimum of 4 hours during the workday.
  • Frequently work in a hot/humid indoor environment.
