Warehouse Selector – Apopka, FL

Quality Custom Distribution is hiring Warehouse Selectors at our Apopka, FL location.

Walk‑in interviews:
July 22 from 10 AM – 2 PM.

Pay: $20.85 per hour.

Location:

1501 Ocoee Apopka Rd., Apopka, FL 32703.

Shift: AM and PM (must accept both).

  • Must be open the nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have electric pallet jack experience.
  • Cooler/Freezer experience is a plus.
Warehouse Associate (Selector) – Orlando

What you’ll do:

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast‑paced, multi‑temperature environment focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety.

In This Role You’ll
  • Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift).
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments and verify accuracy and product quality.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
  • Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
  • Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
  • Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately.
  • Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products.
What You’ll Bring
  • Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification and at least 6 months of safe equipment operation.
  • Strong reading and math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation.
  • Use a voice‑directed picking system (Vol Collect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders.
Schedule & Setting
  • Shift start time: 5 AM or 6 PM (must be open to either shift).
  • Full‑time, on‑site in a temperature‑controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer –5 °F to 38 °F).
  • Primarily a 4‑day work week.
  • Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
Pay & Benefits
