We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations at our Orlando facility. This individual will be responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, warehouse personnel, safety compliance, and continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate has experience managing warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving efficiency while developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and logistics.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates, supervisors, and support staff.
- Monitor productivity, labor utilization, and warehouse KPIs to improve operational performance.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain warehouse procedures that improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with transportation providers and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Manage warehouse space utilization and optimize storage layouts.
- Partner with Purchasing, Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve inventory and fulfillment issues.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent warehouse management experience).
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing warehouse teams.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse best practices.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
