Paraplanner

Overview

Holland Financial, Inc. is looking for a Paraplanner to join our team. The ideal candidate would have the ability to prioritize and balance multiple financial planning projects from start to finish. This is an analysis‑based role that includes gathering information and building presentations (personalized for our clients to improve their financial outcomes) to be presented by our advisers to our clients.

• Updating the Investment Presentation Template Monthly using Microsoft Software Suite
• Assisting our advisers with insurance licensing and appointments
• Entering data into Investment Research and Financial Planning software
• Analyzing Social Security timing optimization
• Collaborating daily with our advisers and client service team

• This is not an adviser role or a "stepping-stone" to being an adviser
• This role does not involve any business development or selling

• Must have Series 65 and Florida 2-15 Life and Health License
• 2+ years’ experience in financial planning support roles and/or adviser roles
• Microsoft Excel Intermediate Knowledge
• Experience with retirement planning, income strategies, Social Security, tax planning
• Must have some investment analysis software experience, Morningstar Preferred (Kwanti, YCharts, etc.)
• Must be a quick learner and be able to work independently and still be a team player
• Must be detailed-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Willing to obtain additional financial education (e.g., ChFC designation)
• Willing to take and give feedback and learn from mistakes
• Able to relocate to within driving distance of Ormond Beach, FL

• Redtail CRM workflows experience
• eMoney experience
• Morningstar Advisor Workstation experience
