• Shift: Varies
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Assists with treatments ordered by the provider under supervision.
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. Performs basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Documents provider encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. Transcribes patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
• Provides patient education and explanations of risks and benefits. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to perform procedures and treatments.
• Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and medical procedures. Ensures compliance with clinical policies and procedures.

High School Grad or Equiv (Required)

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
