The House Person is responsible for keeping the general appearance of the property clean and the resort running efficiently. They ensure that all Housekeepers are provided with essential materials in order to conduct their duties. The House Person also offers support to Inspectors to ensure a proper room turn and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities And Essential Functions- Removes dirty laundry and trash from assigned floors
- Assist in maintaining clean stairwells, stairwell windows, elevators, etc.
- Assists housekeepers with room needs (i.e. strip rooms of linen and trash, move furniture, prep rooms for deep cleaning)
- Prepare/Make Sofa bags for units
- Keeps linens stocked and organized on carts and shelves
- Guest delivers or internal requests
- Reports all lost and found items in compliance to company policy
- Ensures all safety guidelines are followed and report any deviations to supervisor
- Assist with receiving and stocking department deliveries and goods
- Communicate with Dispatcher on open and closed call status
- Other duties as assigned
- Assists guests with questions or concerns
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Positive attitude and customer oriented
- Well‑mannered
- Team Player
- Reliable transportation
- Standing & walking for long periods
- Regularly lift up to 25‑60 lbs.
- Frequent twisting, bending, stooping and reaching
- Climbing Stairs frequently
- Odors or dust
- Cleaning chemicals
- Laundry chemicals
- Outside Weather Elements
- Schedule may vary based on hotel occupancy
- Weekends and holiday availability required
