Summary Of Position

Performs management activities for a team of Business Systems Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts who test software system changes, identify problems, and recommend improvements for Security First Managers (Company). Work involves developing automated and manual testing standards, guides, procedures, and best practices for the QA Analysts to utilize and follow. Responsible for the quality and completion of all software testing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle of all company applications and third-party integrations supported and maintained by the Business Systems Support Teams.

Job Functions Including But Not Limited To
  • Reviews and evaluates team members, selects, trains, and evaluates team members.
  • Oversee administration of the departmental budget.
  • Continuously improves QA processes and operations.
  • Assists QA Analysts with SQL and testing applications.
  • Manages automated test scripts for regression testing and system upgrades.
  • Identifies and communicates change requests affecting system behavior.
  • Builds relationships and collaborates on testing/validation activities.
  • Coordinates and reviews User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Provides performance feedback and development opportunities for team members.
  • Assigns resources for release testing/validation.
  • Escalates testing issues impacting deployment schedules.
  • Manages system downtime notifications.
  • Ensures proper execution of UAT cases and test plans.
  • Oversees batch cycles in non-production environments.
  • Reports test results to software development partners.
  • Provides release sign-off and manages release notes.
  • Identifies and manages risks from business activities.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six (6) years of industry-related experience in QA
  • Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience
  • OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
