This Position reports to:
Maintenance Supervisor

• Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash. Duties may include performing routine facilities support activities and notifying management of need for repairs.
• The Facilities Worker is a member of the Facilities Maintenance organization whose primary function is to clean and maintain the aesthetic appearance of all building spaces by vacuuming, mopping, dusting and washing, including but not limited to:
  • Rest rooms
  • Kitchen space
  • Break rooms
  • Office spaces
  • Conference rooms
  • Shop floor
• Replenish facility supplies (toilet tissue, paper towels, room deodorizers). Collect and dispose of refuse from all receptacles and recycling bins and transport to dumpsters. Conduct special cleaning operations to maintain carpet and tile appearance, including spot treatment.
• Provide oversight of contracted outside services for carpet cleaning and other special services. Operate shop floor scrubbing equipment (manual or ride-on) depending on the task.

• 1 yr. custodial experience
• High school diploma/GED required
• Flexible work schedule as required
