Forklift Operator

This position reports to:

Warehouse Supervisor

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line. Each day, you will be responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing other routine activities according to established procedures.

Responsible for a variety of tasks related to warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, material handling, staging, maintaining inventories and material movement in a manufacturing environment requiring on-time delivery. Maintains the warehouse/shipping/receiving areas in a safe and orderly fashion. The position works under the direction of the department Team Lead and Warehouse Supervisor.

• Responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines.
• Performs other routine activities according to established procedures.
• Responsible, as required, for picking components from stock for dispatch, final packing on pallets, transport of boxes, and various other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.

• Demonstrates ABB's core values and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly.
• Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
• Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.
• Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
• Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.

• Ensures adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB.
• Leads their own development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team.
• Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.
